Our Theatre Supper Evenings will be February the 12th and 13th 2027. We will be presenting two one act plays around a hot, served, two course meal. Live theatre, good company and delicious food – what’s not to love?
Our two plays are Blind Date by Peter Quilter and A Wedding in Mind by Jude Craig
Blind Date – Jonathan and Wendy arrange to go on a blind date having met via a magazine lonely hearts column. The date is a date with a difference as it takes place in Jonathan’s living room.
Neither of them has been lucky in love before and consequently neither has particularly high hopes of the blind date. The couples’ awkwardness and obvious quirks make for a very funny situation. Join us to find out how the “Date” ends up.
A Wedding in Mind – introduces us to two couples, the parents of the bride and groom to be, at their first meeting. To say that there is not exactly a meeting of minds would be an understatement!
Come and watch the fun, secrets and mighty downfalls all clash as Edward, Veronica, Kev and Shaz make arrangements for their offsprings’ forthcoming wedding.
