An Evening with The High Peak Big Band
Join us on Friday Aug 15th 2025 for a great evening out with The High Peak Big Band.
The High Peak Big Band are a 17-piece ensemble performing jazz and swing music featuring talented vocalists Julia Peacock and Jules M Scott and conducted by Brian Lightowler.
Special vocal solos will be performed by trombonists Peter Boxall and Hazel Jolliffe.
The band present contemporary arrangements of music inspired by the golden age of the ballroom and the great showbands with some evergreen tunes of the musical stage.
Following the enormous success of last year’s event Woodford Players is delighted to welcome back The High Peak Big Band to Woodford and we look forward to you joining us for a splendid night’s entertainment.
The bar will be open, tickets are £12 each and available from our TicketSource account.
Seating for this event is unreserved on various sized tables. Parties of 6 or more will be seated together on one table up to a maximum of 10 per table.
